Company and family day: twelve modules for 800 guests
A family day on the factory grounds: around 800 guests, about half of them children, an afternoon from 2 pm to 8 pm. The task was to keep adults and children busy at the same time, without one station queueing while three others stand empty.
The module mix
Bouncy castle, carousel and children’s activities in the courtyard, human table football, bull riding and speed cage in the hall, plus a photo box at the exit. Twelve modules in total, spread across three areas so the routes do not cross.
Build-up and staffing
Delivery the day before, build-up from six in the morning, finished by noon. Six staff looked after the stations and approached guests actively — modules with a host reliably see far more use than those with nothing but a sign.
What we took away
The photo box belongs at the exit, not the entrance: at the start guests head for the attractions, at the end they happily take the picture with them. And two more stations would not have hurt — the hall had the space.
