Family day — one programme for ages 3 to 73

On a family day, three generations are on site at the same time. The most common planning mistake is a programme meant only for children — and parents left standing around for six hours.

144 of our modules are suitable for a family day, and the mix is what decides it. For the youngest guests, Spielmobil, Children's Play Corner, Ball Pit Small, Merlin's Carousel and the Bobby Car Track all work. Children from around six take to bouncy castles, the Survival Course, Children's Forklift, Children's Driving School, Mini Express and Duck Rodeo.

Teenagers and adults need something competitive: Human Kicker XXL, Speed Cage, Bungee Running, Bumper Balls, XXL Darts and the Powerball Course. And for the generation that would rather sit and watch, the Nostalgia Sideshow, Duck Fishing, Mobile Bowling Lane and a fun food stand with popcorn and candyfloss are exactly right.

A good rule of thumb: at least one module where parents and children can compete together. Football Rodeo, XXL Table Football, Tug of War and the Slot Car Track Maxi work across the generations and produce the pictures that end up on the intranet afterwards.

Creative stations are the underrated part of a family day: face painting, airbrush tattoos, glitter tattoos, badge painting, wax hands and Bubble Fun keep children busy for longer and so take the pressure off the rest of the programme. All children's activities are staffed by trained attendants who actively get everyone involved.

  • Plan for three age groups separately: toddlers, children from 6, teenagers and adults
  • Include at least one module that works across the generations
  • Creative stations keep children busy for a long time and relieve the main programme
  • The “Audience: family” filter returns 248 matching modules
  • Staffing by trained attendants — your colleagues do not have to supervise anything

FAQ

Häufige Fragen: Familientag

How do we make sure children are not left unsupervised?

All modules booked as full service are staffed by our trained event staff. They brief the participants, check the minimum age and the minimum and maximum weight, and stop operation if it gets too crowded or too boisterous. Self-supervised, you have to provide the supervision yourself — for children's modules we do not recommend this.

Are there modules with a minimum age?

Yes. For the Aerotrim, for example, the recommended minimum age is 12, along with a minimum and maximum height and a maximum weight. Every product page lists these details under the technical and organisational facts. We will point them out again in your quotation.

How much space do we need in total?

The space required is listed individually for each module and often already includes the necessary safety clearance. For a family day with six to eight modules you should also allow for paths, waiting areas and seating. Send us a site plan and we will lay the modules out sensibly on it.
