Description
Hire an ice climbing wall – a winter attraction at dizzying heights
Ice climbing on an (artificial) glacier wall
You do not have to travel far to experience the unique feeling of ice climbing and to conquer icy summits. Simply bring that experience to your event! On our mobile ice climbing wall, your guests find out what it means to climb an icy, slippery glacier wall.
Of course this is not real ice. The slightly inclined climbing wall is covered with a special white plastic whose texture and properties reproduce the ice of a real glacier wall extremely realistically. The great advantage is that the ice on our climbing wall cannot melt. It can therefore be used at any time, whatever the weather and wherever it is set up.
Conquer the ice climbing wall with professional equipment
Before the ascent, our attendant familiarises participants with the professional mountaineering equipment, which we naturally provide when you hire the ice climbing wall from us. Armed with an ice axe and crampons, participants can then prove their climbing talent and work their way up the steep ice wall step by step. They really do get a taste of high altitude, because the wall rises to a height of 8 metres. So that nothing can go wrong, the ice climbers are secured on a sturdy rope. A second attendant helps with putting on and taking off the harness and crampons, which guarantees continuous operation.
The mobile ice climbing wall is suitable for children aged ten and over and for adults, for beginners and experienced climbers alike.
Safety comes first for us
Please note: All Xtreme Events event modules five metres or more in height hold a current TÜV certificate and a construction log book in accordance with EN 13814 (DIN 4112). Safety and quality come first with us; unfortunately that is not the case with every competitor (please ask about the TÜV certificate & construction log book). A construction log book including an operating permit is mandatory for mobile structures and also for inflatable play equipment with a climbing or play area more than five metres high.
